Was pretty crowded around 2pm, but I was in and out in ~25 minutes. The fried clam strips ($14.99) were delicious. The oil tasted fresh, and the pieces were not scrawny.
Burkes saved the day! I flew in from Denver to Boston and stopped at Burkes en route to Newport. They accommodated my schedule and whipped up the most delicious lobster roll I’ve ever had. Perfectly done and the owners could not have been kinder. Thank you for everything- I’ll be back!
We ate at Burke's on the way to the airport. It was delicious. We loved all of our dishes and you could tell they were prepared with love. The seafood chowder was delicious. The clam chowder was creamy and yummy. The fried fish was cooked perfectly! I would highly recommend coming and supporting this family business.
What a gem! We were waiting for our food across the street and decided to pop in for some oysters to see what this place is about. A dozen local oysters shucked in just a few minutes for us. The staff are so sweet and friendly. We’ll be back for your lobster and crab!

Really Fresh & yummy roll and seafood chowder. Size is heavy, deserved price. Also, you can enjoy clean and cozy eating environment. People here are nice. Highly recommend ⭐
I wish i knew about this place years ago. I got two crab cakes and a whole belly clam lunch and it was absolutely amazinggg. Also what is quite obvious is that they use clean oil for their fried stuff. Turning over your oil in the fryers is one of the most important things a place like this can do and it is clear to me that they take pride in freshness. Highy recommend!
